We give 10 percent of our income to our church every year. Do you think that is the kind of person who is trying to hide things, or do things?

(A) Given that Romney is Mormon, seeing as it's expected that he gives 10% of his income to the church, I see it more as a tax than a donation.

(B) Has this woman not picked up a newspaper even once in her life?

Yeah, I am skeptical of considering church donations as charitable giving. Yes, some religious organizations do good work, but then there are some that use donations to pay for the preacher's fancy car. I think lumping all religious donations together is missing the point of charity.
