While I've mostly been watching this scandal unfold with what John Oliver called Schadenfreudegasm, this story just sickens me. Why would the medical condition of a 4 month old be news the public needed to know? The fact that people are making this a partisan issue is disgusting. *stink-eye at twitter* How would they all react if it had been Cameron's kids ( ... )

All of this. I can imagine another parent on the ward knowing if Fraser Brown was being treated there, but where is the evidence to give to the hacks at the Sun? Nowhere, in that case.
Also schadenfreudegasm is the best word ever.

I can imagine that too but them getting hold of hard evidence to just hand over to a tabloid is nigh on inconceivable to me. Either they had someone undercover there or they did it the old fashioned phone hacking way.

Isn't it? I intend to use it frequently now.

Either it's shitty journalism or criminality. Rock, place, hard.

It really makes me feel ill that many of its readers will probably swallow every word of this obvious bullshit, thanks in no small part to the extreme lack of coverage of this whole scandal in the Sun thus far. Urgh.

Also, everything you said.
