Saw it this morning, and the first thought I had was:

"OH, GUESS McCAIN WON'T BE PICKING A RUNNING M8 THEN, GIVEN THAT THE REST OF THE GOP HATES HIS FUCKING GUTS!"

EXACTLY.

McCain is an idiot, and I fully hope he picks Romney, because I cannot wait to see Biden rip Romney to shreds.

Plus, it'll be a pretty nice storyline, adding in Romney's $200 million wealth to John McCain's 8+ houses and his wife's substantial wealth. Especially since Joe Biden is practically middle class, and always has been. I'd love to see John McCain try and defend his and Romney's personal wealth against what our country is going through in the economy.

I know.

I am already planning debate parties, in which I plan to have bingo ("My friends..." "war hero" "not ready to lead"), a drinking game, and scorecards. haha

Firstly, there is long tradition of " that was just politics" as way of a VP coming on the ticket and saying I didn't realy mean it we have some differences...

Seceondly, That is a devistating piece of editing...

I dunno I think Biden is a mistake . However let's wait til the big public rally and give the man his say.

I dont think its a big deal, personally. Kennedy and Johnson were one of many historical presidential tickets that HATED each other, if I'm recalling correctly.

Despite his age, McCain used an attack angle that suggests he was born yesterday.

I don't think he was a mistake. He seems like he's a great attack dog, which I love.

This is the nature of the modern political enviro. with quick editing software and digital sound bites, you don't even get one press cycle anymore.

They may well have already had several ads made up; it's not like there were that many possibilities.

I'm tempted to believe they had slam-ads for all of the possible VPs, and were just waiting to see which one they'd have to release.
