Okay, so there’s an artist who lives in one of Seattle’s more eclectic neighborhoods - Capital Hill. After having ongoing problems with graffiti tagsters on her garage, and believing that taggers have a moral code about debasing others’ art, painted a pretty kickass mural of
Barbarella.
Some punk jackass
tagged it anyway, prompting the local artist to paint a
protest. The artist got a notice from the city of Seattle that she would be fined if she didn’t deal with the graffiti on her property. That pissed her off, as clearly, she wasn’t the one responsible for the tagging. So she decided to kill two birds with one stone - get rid of the graffiti and
show her support for Obama. Pretty safe bet in
Washington state that it won’t get tagged again.
