Yeah. At least here on the comm, a lot of people have deeply personal reasons for not wanting to vote for her/liking her.

I can respect them if they are voting for someone like Jill Stien, but I can't respect people who are voting for Trump instead. I mean if you believe in Bernie's message at all, why would you vote for the antithesis of that? Unless your vote is to spite Hillary...

That said, I don't think there's anyone on this community who is voting for Trump out of spite. I'm talking about other places like Facebook, etc.

Honestly, I can see people not supporting Jill Stein either. Her "Bye Felicia" tweet stirred up quite a bit of controversy...?

Well, she's not alone in that regard. I've been reading NeuroTribes by Steve Silberman. The history of autism in the US is a crazy, tragic rollercoaster ride through lava and shit...

Eaux.

Yeah I didn't care for her tweet either but that ableism shit just makes it worse.

I guess people can just write in Bernie, vote for someone else, or not vote, but God, don't vote for Trump if you're a Bernie supporter.

As someone who is legally blind I have to say I appreciate Hillary's mention of getting rid of sub-minimum wages for people with disables.

Subminimum wages for real work is an insult and an invitation to exploitation.

Well, since I'm autistic, along with a hell of a lot of my friends, that ensures I will never, ever vote for her.

I'm not voting for Stein given her autism comments (also lol @ "we didn't have autism and diabetes back in my day!"). I'm voting Soltysik. I know he won't win but honestly a vote for him is better than any of the alternatives IMO.

Some people in this community have had their family personally affected by Hillary Clinton's foreign policy decisions, there are valid reasons for people not wanting to vote for her.

I also believe guilt tripping people into voting for a candidate they heavily distrust/disagree with is not an effective way to gather support for your candidate.

Empowering people to engage with the political process and not alienating/disillusioning them is so much more important (alienating voters is so damaging as already not enough people vote, especially democrats).
