As Hillary Clinton claimed victory in the Democratic race on Tuesday night, her ardent supporters enthusiastically tweeted #ImwithHer. But a Twitter meme fueled by other voters - particularly Bernie Sanders supporters whom Mrs. Clinton hopes will join her camp - underscored that while many Democrats deeply oppose presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, they remain ambivalent about the former secretary of state, over issues including mass incarceration and foreign policy.

And in 2016, sometimes nothing can quite explain the complicated feelings about the 2016 election like pop-culture references and animated gifs.

The hashtag #GirlIGuessImWithHer started sparking thanks to Twitter user @MadBlackThot. Described as a college student on her Twitter bio, she tweeted the hashtag late Tuesday night, along with the hashtag #whatelseistheretodo.

She followed up by tweeting a GIF of Oprah Winfrey sipping champagne in a bubble bath. When followers told her to support Green Party candidate Jill Stein instead, she said she’d be supporting Mrs. Clinton so that her vote counts.

Mrs. Clinton faces some challenges in uniting the party. When it came to young voters, Mr. Sanders dominated, while Mrs. Clinton was favored among older voters and minority voters. Indeed, voters under 30 fueled the Sanders campaign - he won more than 70% of them, a bigger share than Barack Obama claimed in 2008.

Mr. Sanders, is of course, still in the race and holding rallies, so his young supporters are left to decide if they support the presumptive nominee, or continue supporting him - at least until the convention next month.

I need to make this hashtag into a banner because the Haitian women of my family, including myself, feel like this overall. And no, none of us can't not vote for her because we live in the volatile swing state of Florida.
