I go to UAlbany as well and I really hope that there is more to it than what I've seen on the tapes, but the clips I have seen really make a strong case against them. It's so disgusting that racists are using this as the FALSE ACCUSATION of their wet dreams to discredit the BLM movement. I accidentally read some of the comments from the times union facebook page when this first happened and it was such a mistake.

This! I now know what racists to delete off FB, i'll tell you that now. I definitely think there is more to the story, especially since there is no video of anything that happened before the fight. For all we know, the white girls and guys could have been purposely provoking these girls earlier.

I mean, there was even that BLM rally a few days later on campus.

I agree that someone probably said something to set them off, but I think the point here is that they got off the bus and called the police and said they were jumped by a group of white people out of nowhere and no one did a thing to defend them. And I think regardless of what happened before the videos, that specific accusation was false, and that's the problem.
