I almost wish the owner would sell to them, because I'm that sure that Ingrid Newkirk is doing this for the shock value and the column inches and has no intention of buying this house.

I'd love to have her be forced to spend the money.

Well, actually, I did there once--to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was well worth it, especially as at that time, they were having a special exhibit on John Lennon, and an exhibit of Stu Sutcliffe's paintings. For this old Beatlemaniac, that was pretty darned thrilling!

But other than that...yeah. :D
