I got home last night for winter break, and I found out tonight that my little brother's 8th grade American history class is watching the Ten Commandments. I made a big fuss about it, and my mom sent in an e-mail to the teacher asking her to explain why she thinks the movie is appropriate. But now my little brother seems pretty stressed about it. I feel kind of bad. :\
I also ended up blocking someone on my facebook feed who kept posting things like, "BREAKING NEWS: Over 100 children were killed in Chicago between March of 2011 and March of 2012." "BREAKING NEWS: 70 children have been killed by drone strikes under the Obama administration."
I understand his point, but I don't know. ): It seemed inappropriate. Sometimes I feel like the only proper immediate response to events like those today is silence.
Remember that crappy job I posted about last week? I haven't responded to the comments on it yet because I've been looking for more work, doing interviews, and craft shows to benefit our local no-kill shelter. You guys are right- the time to call the health dept. is coming soon. I've been getting more hours there (strangely) because other people have been calling out more often, and I'm crazy about cleaning. New record: every table in the house scrubbed with Windex in under half an hour! We didn't have a spray bottle of bleach, and the tables are glass tops, so Windex works, right

And I'm always working. >D I keep an agenda down to the last hour... and I'm used to not sleeping, so 12-15 hour shifts are not unusual. So much to do! So much to achieve!
