Am I the only one who didn't like this book? I'm ok with the decision to read it first, I was just wondering. After the first few chapters it bored me to tears. :/

You're not alone. I liked the first few chapters but I seriously had to force myself to read it. i started it last May, read the first 4 or so chapters and didn't finish it until December.

Same here! I got about a third of the way in within a few days, but then I stopped and couldn't make myself finish the damned thing for at least another month or so. I thought it was terrible. And predictable to boot.

I was going to start reading Brave New World, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it after reading this tbh :(

Aww, no. Brave New World was much better imo. I had to read it back in high school for an AP class, and I found it a much easier read, though still a tad predictable by the end. Much better than Island though. You should give it a try! :)
