Also, when he appeared to Ben & Sun last season, the real John Locke was already dead and in that timeline Ben & Sun were in MIB should’ve already taken the form of Locke. Also in that same timeline Ben had confronted the smoke monster in the temple per Locke - who we now know was MIB and the smoke monster turned into Alex but per Illana, MIB could not have done so. He was already in Locke’s form and could no longer change to someone else.
According to Ilana, he was stuck after Jacob died so I think that still means he was the Christian that Sun & Frank saw because he led them towards Ben's house and "John Locke," and he was Alex to manipulate Ben into not hurting "Locke."

Indeed, BUT how was Christian talking to Sun and Frank while meanwhile Ben should have been waking up to Locke sitting by his bed?

Especially if his smoke monster self can't fly from Island to Mini Island.

Ben was unconscious for a whole day or something, right? And while Sun and Frank had to walk from the shore to the barracks, Smocke had the advantage that he could just fly inland.

From his outrigger to the barracks? Wait, fffffuuuu, now I'm confused. He and Ben borrowed one together. I suppose he could've taken one by himself without anyone noticing but this is getting hard to believe.
Maybe they just added that "not being able to fly over water" quirk this season?

Yeah, see that's the issue I'm having.

The dock seems to be right by the barracks, just like...down a hill. Like the welcoming center where Christian was, was right by where Miles was kept with the grenade and where the sub docked too and such....

Buuut, FLocke couldn't have been able to sail back and forth so quickly. So either the timing is off (like that hasn't happened before...like last episode with Sun shot a day after 815 and Locke getting hit by a car 5 days later and them both arriving at the hospital at the same damn time wtf...), or they really did just add that no flying over water rule.

Either way, good luck explaining that one, writers!

Then why is it so special that Hurley can see dead people if others can see dead people too if the dead wish it so? Why not appear and explain everything fully?
