I expect it to be someone we've met already but not Juliet.

Put her through what though really? The fact that she was with Jack and then it didn't work out?

If she gets coffee with Sawyer later, I'm sure she's doing well.

I think the mirrors were just Jacob's way of checking in on his prospects. Someone in another forum suggested that the dial was getting full so perhaps the game going on between Jacob and his nemesis is coming to a close therefore no more new recruits would be making their way to the island thus making the lighthouse and it's mirrors obsolete at this point.
That would explain why he wasn't upset when a rage filled Jack broke them.

There must have been only 360 candidates total.

That's what I'm thinking.
Though at first I thought the game or whatever it is would be endless and now I'm thinking this is really the end.

'Kay so Jacob is a creeper who liked watching people from the lighthouse mirrors.

What's weird is that it showed Jack's house, but then it showed where he touched Sun & Jin and Sawyer...not where they lived.

Jack's got more deja vu over his appendix. Or is his scar actually "fresher" than it should be if he got it out when he was 7 as opposed to an adult on the Island?

I'm really okay if MOM is Juliet. She and Jack wouldn't be together anymore, so whatever. Surely it's someone we know, though. When was Jack married to Sarah in the Island timeline?

I wondered if the mirror images were meant to reflect the reason each candidate was chosen? Sun and Jin because of their love/relationship so it shows where they were married and Jack because of his family, I'm assuming because Christian also made it to the island.

So like, the place reflects the conflict? Sun and Jin were going to have a rocky marriage, so it showed their wedding scene. Sawyer at the church because he wrote the letter....

But then the hospital would still work for Jack and his relationship with Christian....

I don't know if it necessarily reflects the conflict but more of what makes them a good or viable candidate.
Or the actual shots could be irrelevant and it was just meant to prove Jacob was watching idk.

I was telling my classmates the other day about my love for LOST. Having never watches LOST, they grilled me endlessly (mostly joking). Then, one of my classmates seriously asked, "Is it purgatory?" I laughed. Then, he said the only thing he'd ever heard it was was purgatory.
