Its been announced that there will be a Korra panel at Matsuri Con March 29th. So far the only news we have gotten about Season 2 was at last year's Comic-Con but we may finally find out more about this season in over a month from now:

Saturday, Episode 4 of “The Legend of Korra” garnered 4.079 million viewers and a 1.13 adults 18-49 rating, which was tops for Nickelodeon on Saturday and about half a million more viewers than last episode. Episode 4 would have ranked as the 6th most watched episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
