United players baffled by LVG's tactics

So Rihanna hasn't had much luck further up the food chain & is now trying it on with Trapp? Mess up a few times Kev, and her infatuation will fade fast! :p

Then Trapp? Trapp might be good? He's fairly low key,no? Yeah, I don't know LvG's tactics either. Gaahhh. Do you think his contract will be extended?

Kevin's a perfectly fine 'keeper, but not exactly the biggest name, hence my surprise at seeing her with him. Would she have cared when he was with Frankfurt? Perhaps I'm being too judgmental.

I'm wondering whether LvG will be sticking around. We're not doing that badly, yet there's no comparison to the SAF years, and probably never will be. I expect he'll go the full 3 (?) years; beyond that may depend on whether a big name manager can be snared with a hefty contract. It looks like Klopp is heading to Anfield.

I hate it when players are played out of position. With the exception of Lahm, it almost never works well (and even then...). Van Gaal massively underestimated Wenger/Arsenal.

I don't think you're being too judgmental. I'd be surprised if she knew even who Kevin Trapp was prior to his PSG move, let alone him playing for the very average Frankfurt.

Iirc word on the street is hat LvG wanted to work long enough to pay off his debts and then was planning to call it quits. Take that with a grain of salt and a side of butter though

So it's supposed to be his last hurrah before he buggers off to Portugal.

I think it was the Bernie Madoff scandal? He had bilked God knows how many people out of all/most of their money. Incredible. :/

Yep, I think Kevin Bacon got hit also. A lot of wealthy people got wiped out of their wealth. Whoops.

Ah. Because he had lost his nest egg with some bad investment(s), iirc. Now I feel even better about the situation. :p
