Talk from the sidelines
- Müller: "We are criticized for making the league boring? That's ridiculous. Should we lose in purpose to make them feel happy? Well we won't I hear you. Actually, I was listening to a football podcast yesterday and it was really interesting, it said one of the reasons why the PL is not as good as say La Liga or Bundesliga is that all the teams are in relative parity, instead of say, having a big 2 like La Liga or a big one like Bayern Munich that people can work towards. So most of the teams are on the same level (like Cabaye going to Crystal Palace instead of say, Manchester City or summat). As a result relative parity should be banished in England and most money given to say, the top two teams, and how Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal should have demanded the lions share of the TV money because it would have inadvertently benefited the league by having top three teams in terms of finance and such. Then the bottom teams would have to take Europa seriously in order to get some extra money and thus work the coefficient because they wouldn't have the cushion of the TV money. I don't agree for reasons, but it was a pretty interesting debate.
- Zamp: 'Palermo are worst in Serie A'Well, okay
- Bilic is loving his time at West Ham Their away form has been amazing - if only they'd carried that form into Europa ;-;
- First day back at the training ground today, nice to be back Luke Shaw back at training. Ah, I think he's a nice lad
- Club believes in manager and squad Chelsea puts out a statement defending Jose, and all of the club's supporters are behind him, so that's nice. But there's a sting in the tail - Mourinho can't buy any new players in January. Abramovich seems to have realised that he has an academy, in addition to 30 players on loan, so Mourinho will have to turn his hand and make fashion, as they say.
- Allegri: No crisis at Juventus The coach has been warned that a 'transitory period' is not acceptable
- Lorenzo Insigne finally coming of age as Napoli’s featherweight fantasista Nice article
- 'Insigne can be Napoli's Totti' Ahhh, potential
- Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher Could Be Offered Liverpool Positions I try not to post LFC news here (apart from say, football matches) because I know a LOT of people in this sub don't care for the club, but it's interesting news afoot if rumours flying around are true
- Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confident Pep Guardiola will sign new Bayern Munich deal Manchester City's owners cry in their duckets... and zero in on this guy's name I can't remember
- Inter Milan ace Icardi dumps agent of more than a decade and hires wife Wanda Nara
This couple is the living definition of 'hot mess'

Gareth Bale was in Wales last night at the Welsh player awards. He got player of the year, fans' player of the year and player's player of the year. A hattrick!
Mourinho escaped the sack, but the supporters didn't want to see him go, and there's been drama in the supporter's camps, because people are leaving the matches half way, and other Chelsea supporters are calling them plastics. Well, with losses you learn to appreciate the wins, I guess
Rihanna's pursuit of footballers continues apace. She's now hanging out with Kevin Trapp. Anyone was better than that guy from Real Madrid. Benzema, right? Yeah, him. For real.
Rihanna's like for football is well known
Jenner and Hadid's were at the same match as Rihanna. Their knowledge of the game would be decent, I think. Girls do play soccer in the US on a nation wide scale, and iirc, Kim Kardashian was alleged to be a good soccer player - until her father took her to a session with a makeup artist until she was fourteen and then she didn't do soccer anymore! Granted, the Jenners are a different lot, but still, the girls in that clan are sporty, until they hit puberty anyways. Hadid is sporty, because she's played volleyball to a high level, even when her mum didn't want her to do it because it would ruin her model's body (LOL wut)? Well, this is ONTD football, right?
Maradonna supporting Argentina at the Rugby World Cup - that England bottled itself out of ;-; (forever creys)
Yes, Argentina is a Rugby power. They are called Los Pumas (the pumas), and are a decently ranked team.
