Kramer doesn't seem likely to happen - he just signed an extension till 2019 in Leverkusen, and will return there at the end of the season when the loan to Gladbach ends.

Ouch, that headwound. Looked very scary. And Cazorla... I'm certain I saw red stripes on his chest from the studs.

I just read that too. I hope he develops further and becomes a key player for Leverkusen, tbh. I think that he would have more chances in Leverkusen too.
Although Arsenal are in desperate need for better defensive midfielders. The hole that they had in the middle of the pitch was massive. I think that Wenger would buy someone like Kroos in his dreams but alas that's not happening right now for Arsenal.

It just means that you can't leave the club for free. It protects both club and player from doing a Boseman, iirc

But it would bring up the price, I assume, so with all Arsenal's problems, it might not be feasible.

Arsenal's problem isn't money, according to Wenger since the stadium is paid off. He is prepared to flash the cash. I think I posted an article yesterday about his intent, but Wenger is seen as someone who tends to be unable to decide? Idek, he got Sanchez and LFC didn't, so I don't know what his fans are on about. But Wenger seems as if he is ready to play ball, as they say.

I have my doubts about him actually ever playing in a Leverkusen shirt (he'd be a good matchup with Bender in the midfield with Rolfes leaving though!), but I did appreciate his 2000 word essay on Instagram explaining his decision.

Lol! I think it could work. Guess we'll have to wait and see. But lol @ his essay, so long! Maybe clubs should ask players to write these things everything they make a switch.
Fabregas' explanation would be a good read.

Yeah, I don't think we're planning on bringing in any new central mids (all of the transfer rumors so far have been about right backs) and we just sent Öztunali out on loan. So I think short term, we're looking at Kramer to step in.

(I read it again on the bus for kicks. It is so freaking long lol.) Does a social media platform exist that would be able to handle Cesc's explanation though? ;)

Lol IA, the internet would explode if Cesc wrote a long essay about Cescgate and moving to Chelsea.

Lol true, Cesc's explanation would probably kill the internet.

I'm amused he thought something like that was necessary, but maybe he's just one of those guys who just has to get his opinion out there. Regardless of whether or not the situation calls for it. ;)
