March for Women in 50 U.S. States on 4-28-12
Without re-hashing what a fucking mess the last few months have been like in the United States with regard to slut-shaming, restricting access to abortion/contraception, and medical rape, I'd like to put out a plug for We Are Women.
This group is organizing marches in all 50 state capitals plus DC on April 28, 2012 to protest the assault on women's rights, dignity, and bodily autonomy.
Information about state marches can be found here. Please show up if you can, and bring as many similarly outraged women and men as possible.
They are also planning a National March in DC sometime in September (date TBA).
