slut shaming
First post here so all the standard disclaimers apply, already posted then delete, let me know if I do anything wrong, etc.
Warning for discussion of slut shaming, turning a discussion on an issue into a personal attack on a 13 year old girl and saying stupid things that prove the kid's point. Also, for your sanity, don't read the comments on the video.

13 year old girl talks about how slut shaming is a result of misogynistic culture. Kudos to her. Then a panel of 'experts', 3 white men and one white woman, discuss it. Their first point? 13 year olds shouldn't talk about sex.
Second point? It's getting better for girls and worse for boys, even thought the boys would be proud of being called sluts. Seriously, they said that.
Third point, the one that demanded I share this whole thing, about 6 minutes in? It's bad for boys to call girls sluts, because it is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE TO GETTING THE GIRL TO SLEEP WITH THEM!

point four. rape culture is too liberal to be understood.
point five. Guys call women sluts bc they aren't getting any.
point six. If she was older she would understand that rape culture isn't related to slut shaming.
point seven, If she was my daughter I'd be proud of her for being smart, but freak out if she knew what sex was or was having it.
point eight. There are bigger issues than reclaiming a word that originally meant 'unclean'
point nine. To rebel against nanny state, I'm going to get drunk and sleep with everything that moves.
point ten. Host needs to start a walk to reclaim the title of swarthy.
My point? I can't comment coherently on this it's pissed me off so much.
