Arpaio Arrests Dozens in SB 1070 Protests

July 29 was a day of civil unrest across the country as hundreds took to the streets to protest Arizona's SB 1070. In Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio wasted no time rounding up protesters. A total of at least 50 people were arrested in Phoenix after peacefully confronting police dressed in riot gear, including several journalists covering the story

Exactly. And haven't some prisoners died because of him? I recall hearing something about that.

Either way, the man is fucked up, but the fact that many see his behavior as acceptable only means this country is even more fucked up because it created and molded him and his ideology.

He forces his prisoners to sleep outside. In Arizona. In the summer.

Yeah, some of them have died.
