I'm not sure if this is even allowed, but it cracked me up. Mods, feel free to delete.
I've been spamming my other OT-message board with Kradam stuff, and the TV Guide interview garnered the following from my very-gay male friend:
Wait a second... what? That other guy won american idol by being the STRAIGHT one? wtf?
And again:
seriously though. he's such a bigger fag than adam is...
AHAHAHA.
I used to think that fanfiction was completely ludicrous [in a good way] - especially when written about real people. That these were fantasies that fangirls amused themselves with because they had nothing better to do. That the writing was an ESCAPE, because it could so obviously never happen.
... and then one day, a while ago, I was talking to my sister, who was in a rock band in NYC for a long time. She played guitar.
The singer was a bisexual half-Samoan tall-as-fuck-with-a-huge-grin screamer dude, and we used to joke about the fact that he could seduce anyone if he tried.
There were five members of this band: my sister, her boyfriend, the sexy singer, the 'straight' guy bass player, and the married-guy drummer.
...This sexy singer managed to seduce & service both the bass player AND the married drummer on different occasions.
THE MARRIED DRUMMER.
I am not making this shit up. This is not fanfiction.
Which leads me to think about the nature of fiction in general.
How much of it is speculation, and how much is intuition?
Thoughts?
