WHO: Blues and Kai.
WHAT: Information gathering for one, friendship for the other.
WHERE: The beach.
WHEN: Saturday, 11 in the morning.
Blues hadn't gotten a lot of interaction with people, yet. Even when he did, he seemed to intentionally keep it short. He was much less interested in talking than he was in seeing things. Wandering around, finding what the world had to offer.
So to develop a friendship in order to get hard evidence of La Squadra was jumping into the figurative deep end.
Still, it had to be done, since it wasn't like Ukitake could do this. Blues was better fit for it: Younger, and unknown in Reggio Calabria, it'd be easier to infiltrate the group when your only recorded history is under lock and key at the AMC.
