Rabi Bookman was horny.

It was a fact of life that men did indeed just get the urge to screw anything that moved, and Rabi was experiencing that to the fullest at that moment. Maybe it was because of all the stress in his life. The political, of course, was a heavy concern, something that he was reminded of on a daily basis, every hour of every waking day. But then there was also another layer of anxiety that he had never really taken the time to consider before: the personal. It had been so simplistic when Tyki controlled everything, but that peace of mind was synthetic, so fake that it broke when Tyki was gone, leaving everything to Rabi. Never before had he been so able to do what he wanted, pursue the dreams he had only entertained in the darkness of Tyki's bedroom, listening to the other man sleep. And despite all the tension rising around them in the city between families, the schemes of the AMC, and everything else piled on top of it, Rabi felt so damn free and he liked it.

Which lead back to him being horny. He wanted an outlet, a good one. And he knew just the person who felt the same way he did about sex. Ulquiorra Schiffer would be home about now, he presumed, and threw his coat on before leaving.

As he took the stairs up to Ulquiorra's new apartment, Rabi wondered how he would approach this whole thing. Would it be possible to just walk in, declare what they were going to do, and then just screw Ulquiorra on the nearest flat surface? It certainly sounded like a good idea to Rabi, who didn't even bother knocking on the door and walked right in.

Rabi Bookman was horny, but he was also very surprised to see another redhead in the house. Another redhead that wasn't him. He wasn't the type to get jealous, but couldn't Ulquiorra mention that he was getting another squeeze on the side? He had to be boning her, because why else would she be doing dishes?

Closing the door with a rather loud slam, Rabi turned to her, pulling a bit at the tie around his neck.

"Hey, is Ulquiorra around?"

It was times like these when Kairi hated how quiet the apartment could get. It would get quiet sometimes when it was just she and Ulquiorra, when there was never anything to say, the kittens filling the silence with their content little purring. That silence, the redhead didn't mind - it was peaceful. The silence that came when Ulquiorra wasn't around wasn't as peaceful, and it just seemed to be made worse when the kittens were asleep like they were. And normally, she'd find a way to occupy her time with her friends, but they seemed to be so few and far between lately. The city seemed... emptier to her lately. Empty and quiet, yet hectic and busy because of recent happenings.

Of course, there wasn't anything she could do about it, and she knew it. That's how it'd always been, really. She couldn't stop homicides or bombings or anything like that, no matter how much she wanted to. It just wasn't possible.

Rinsing off a plate, the sound of the water loud to her ears, Kairi didn't notice the door opening, but her timing couldn't have been more perfect; a second after she shut the water off, she jumped at the sound of the door slamming, and she knew it wasn't Ulquiorra. He didn't slam doors.

Turning around quickly, she'd gotten halfway through a mental scolding for being caught off guard and not having her gun on her before the stranger spoke. Judging from just how casual he was being about the situation, Kairi assumed it was safe to turn her back for just a second to put the plate down safely before she turned back to the stranger with a smile. "No he isn't," she replied, drying her hands off with a towel. "I take it you're a friend of his?"
