WHAT: Sharpay Vescovo's 21st Birthday Extravaganza!
WHERE: The new Vescovo Centre built especially for this purpose.
WHEN: 153 | 7 PM
Everything had to be perfect. There was absolutely no room for error with Sharpay Vescovo and especially not on her birthday. Which, obviously, was why the woman herself had come out of her hair and makeup session early to oversee the final touches on the grand ballroom before the doors opened. Twenty one! Now she could totally drink and not get pulled over by those stupid police! Police! Since when did they even have police.
The ballroom was gleaming an elegant ivory, everything from the walls to the windowsills was uniformly shined to perfection and Sharpay nodded once before continuing. The sleek, pink chandeliers hung low and enormous down from the ceiling. Sharpay clapped once and squealed when the lights turned off and were immediately replaced by pink strobe lights and from the ceiling, humongous disco balls descended. Leaving the lights off, she crossed over to the central staircase, the decorative curtains trimmed in white and pink and creamy pink vases of white daisies sat on each pillar.
The girl then looked down at her still mundanely clothed body and shrieked, "EMILY! If I don't have my dress on in like, two seconds I will scream!" A pause. "I'll scream louder!"
An attendant rushed towards the far end of the room, clapping once to turn the lights back to normal after he was sure Sharpay was out of the room, donning a fierce pink vest. He set down the plate he was rushing over to the food area with all of the other food, all set on ornate silver serving platters. A waitress bumped into the attendant, looking harried. She apologized before heading out of the room and outside to the open bar area.
In the distance, a woman shrieked about her clipboard and Sharpay.
Every surface was sprinkled with glitter and when the party began, it would be falling from the archway that was serving as the entrance.
The effect was something only the Vescovo could achieve and fabulous might just be selling it short.
