WHO: Genkishi (genkishi), Alucard (toothsomehound)
WHAT: Feeding the beast
WHERE: Alucard's house
WHEN: Evening, Day 149

Genkishi had never been to Alucard's house.

Undoubtedly there was a reason for that, probably the same that Alucard had never come to his apartment. They did, after all, have a very healthy respect for the other's abilities at all times, the sort that almost demanded that, while you might like to talk, might enjoy each other's company, you didn't necessarily allow the other into your most private sanctum. That...and Genkishi was high-ranking mafia. Even for someone who was used to acting only in emergencies, there was still plenty of work to be done.

Therefore it was cause for concern (or at least worth looking into) that Alucard had confessed about his...disability...to Genkishi. A sign of trust? It might have been, but Alucard had sounded desperate, in a way Genkishi was all-too-familiar with. Left to waste away, he seemed capable of raising a great deal more chaos in the city. It would be practical to address the situation now before Alucard possibly made himself noticeable to the higher-ups, which would mean that he would receive orders to address the situation.

He was not surprised by the holes in the floor, which he was careful to look for as he crossed through the numerous rooms, guessing that Alucard was likely to have taken the high ground. Curious, though, that the stairs were no longer in place. Not that this was any problem for Genkishi, given his own physical capacities; he simply located the most convenient hole and jumped, passing from floor to floor until he came out onto the landing of the fourth floor.

Genkishi eyed the dog sitting regally at the top of where the stairs were supposed to be. He held very still, waiting for the dog to make a judgement, though most people would have been scared out of their wits to see the man appearing from the shadows with a half-filled bottle in his hand and four swords on his hips. And he was very certain that he did not want to proceed from here without alerting Alucard to his presence, simply out of courtesy for what was practically breaking-and-entering.

"Alucard," he called, wondering if the man could hear him, or if he was even at home.

alucard, genkishi
