WHAT: Meeting of the team investigating the Laughing Man.
WHERE: Motoko's office at AMC headquarters
WHEN: Wednesday morning, October 8. (Can someone tell me the ingame day?)
Motoko tapped her foot impatiently. She shuffled papers on her desk. This was troubling. They had to act, and quickly, before something bad happened. She had called all the people who Chun Li had assigned to her investigation unit. All she had to do was wait for them to arrive.
Her mechanical red eyes scanned her office. There were two couches facing each other perpendicular to her desk, and a coffee table between them. She had also commandeered a few extra chairs, just in case. She had informed Lauren Reed that she would have to give a presentation about her findings so far concerning the hackings. Then they all would have to outline a plan of action.
Then there was that mysterious man, Tseng Liu. Motoko smirked to herself. She would have to pay him a visit as well. People like him interested her. She would bring it u p at the meeting and find someone to go along with her.
Her smirked faded, and she crossed and uncrossed her legs under her desk. Something still bothered her about the Laughing Man. Something she couldn't put her finger on. Was it just that no one could figure out his plans? Was it the message she had read with the words “COP KILLER”? Or was it simply that she liked this Laughing man fellow (or it could be female for all she knew) more than was afraid of it?
She shook it off, and stared at the door, frowning. Motoko was all business now.
