He wasn't expecting anything?
Kairi found herself wondering why she even questioned that. Had it been anyone else, she would've been surprised. But Aloy... No, she didn't even care what happened or didn't happen. Things wouldn't change much for them; they would still feel the same about each other, maybe a little more, but there probably wasn't much of a chance of them being together. Not with the way things were going. But neither of them could be sure about that direction, not even Ulquiorra.
She leaned into his touch, much like an affectionate cat would, a genuine smile on her face at his words. "Giving me that kind of power over you might not be such a good idea," she teased with a grin.
"Who knows what sort of things I could get you to do. Steal straight from the Vescovo family, go out and severely injure any old clients that did so much as put a bruise on me, get you to stay for a few more hours..." Kairi's voice grew softer, quieter as she continued, a hand reaching up to thread her fingers with his, and she turned her head to kiss his palm. And as much as she might not have wanted to admit it, for Ulquiorra's sake, that last suggestion didn't really sound to bad. Even then, there was no guarantee just what could happen if he did stay. So there wouldn't be any harm, right?
