living up to the name 'baka' by spending too much money on clothes I cannot even wear
I need to stop ordering crap for my guys so I can get prepped for ordering a doll from Tensiya. Tensiya does NOT take paypal, correct?
I ordered some Hound shirts at LUTS the other night. One is a v-neck black sweater for the Eiri-to-come. Now I need to find Hound khaki pants. The only ones I have found I like are at Tensiya and they have some extra detail I really don't see Eiri considering. They would be fine for Kane or Trans, though.
I purchased some more kimono from the eBay seller who makes killer kimono - one for MSD and one for SD - and both are long enough for my taller-than-typical guys. I also sent the seller requested photos showing the height measurement with the 70cm doll in the long kimono - they work great if the kimono has the extra-long length around the feet.
I purchased some wigs (some long, some short) and some dress shoes from another eBay seller. Kane's default wig is becoming more elusive and Trans always needs yet another look for his chameleon nature. I keep thinking Kane needs to have white/silver/lavender hair so the family resemblance is a little more apparent - Nasake has white and Chikara has white/grey. Their dad should be pale haired, too.
The Bittenbefore order came in. I haven't had a chance to try the clothing on the guys yet, let alone take photos. The shirt Shuichi told me he wanted will probably be stolen from him by Kane - the fight won't be pretty. Shu likes that deconstructed black shirt with the extra-long sleeves. Chikara will have a devil hoodie (naturally!) and Shuichi has a pink hoodie with long rabbit ears.
I am slowly working toward getting everyone dressed for the meetup this Sunday - garden party at the Ft. Worth Botanical Garden's Rose Garden.
I am debating on whether or not Hatori should wear a dress shirt/pants or more casual attire. I threw a short-sleeved shirt on him this morning because he was sitting around without a stitch on.
Nasake is in a kimono, naturally, the same one he was in for the workday meetup.
Chikara is in too-short overalls at the moment but I may change him after I get the rest of the guys situated and dressed.
Shuichi has too many clothes to choose from so I am going to have to dig through his box to see what would be nice for the party. I would like to get him in a dress shirt and tie for this event.
Kane and Trans are still in kimono. I am tempted to let them remain in them because I only have a few pairs of pants that fit them. I may put Kane back in his prize pants and have him wear the Wicked Stitchery shirt that is really too small across the shoulders so he would have to wear it unbuttoned - the slut.
I would love to put Trans in something more dressy but the few pieces of nicer clothing I own have been delegated as Eiri's clothing and I just don't want to cross that line yet. I did have him wear the grey trousers in January for that meetup so maybe I will put him in those again. I will probably do more cross-over clothes sharing after Eiri FINALLY gets here. Right now, I just don't want the clothing I have for the sourpuss to be seen in public yet.
The chibs will wear something - I just have to see when Easter is and how close it is to the next meetup. If the second meetup is closer to Easter, the chibs will not wear their Easter togs this coming Sunday. They will wear some of their new clothes, though.
