A Yarn starring the Chibs [DM EE Banji and Lime]
The chibis are always fun to have along at the office. One day I found them in my yarn bag in the break room.
o: Hey, Chibs!
Chibis: Nani???
o: Okay, what's going on here?

cE: Just checking out what is in this bag.
cS: Such pretty colours and soft stuff!
o: I am making a bunch of mutant potholders again.

cS: Really? *little butt starts wiggling*
o: That's right. I am working on getting some future gifts together.

cS: Really really? *starts dancing around* Maybe you can make some stuff for us and our cubby! That would be great!
cE: *watches chibi Shu wiggling his butt* Oi...

cE: *Blinks as his eyes start glazing over, watching his mate continuing to wiggle and dance* Oi...

cS: *bounces around the table* This is so neat! You could make us curtains (even though we don't have any windows in our cubby) and pillows for the floor and our chair and an afghan for the bed you are going to buy for us and I KNOW you are going to buy us a bed soon because the floor is really hard and...

cS: *the bounces start getting higher so the table starts rocking back and forth* ...my knees get tired and sore after being on them for a while but Eiri keeps on going and going and going and I sometimes wonder if that pink bunny with the drum might be related to him and maybe you could make us a nice soft but washable rug so the floor WOULD be soft for me and my knees and back and the rest of my bits and I really like the yellow and orange and pink colour you have with THIS yarn and I promise Eiri won't spill his beer or coffee on the rug, though I might spill something goopy because I am a klutz so you better make sure you can throw it in the washing machine and maybe you could make us some placemats for our table so we can serve our food on something pretty and while you are at it, maybe some nifty little vests for us and a hat - I would LOVE a hat and...WHMMMPHHFFFCH!

cS: MMMPHFFHHHH!
cE: Only if you stop wiggling and jumping like a kangaroo, okay?
cS: *nods as cEiri removes yarn from his mouth* Ptpht! *spitting the yarn fibers out of his mouth*

cE: The situation is now contained, although temporarily, as you well know, onna. He will need to be released for a run soon.

cS: *quietly* I thought you liked my wiggle... *sniff*
cE: I do, but you know I like it when we are at home and we have a place to wiggle together. Most humans are not like onna and do not understand.

cS: *pleads* Can we go home now?
o: We can in a few hours. Eiri-chan, do you have everything under control now?
cE: Yes, as long as I can exercise the brat in a little while - his muscles will start getting all tight shortly.
o: I will take you both out during a break so chibi Shu can terrorize the ducks, does that sound okay?
cS: YAY!

And so the campus ducks were terrorized (grabbed, jumped on, ridden and kicked to continue running and swimming until exhausted - then another duck selected for chibi torture) later in the afternoon...
