lots of things have been happening around here lately!
I finally got things figured out with Deloitte and I'm scheduled for an office visit with them on May 9th! The office visit comes with a dinner on the 8th and a hotel room over-night. How exciting!
Chris and I celebrated our two year anniversary yesterday! We opted to cook dinner together instead of go out anywhere, but first he surprised me by picking me up from class! When he drove up and opened the door for me I found beautiful flowers, a sweet card, and mint chocolate chip ice cream! (I've been wanting some for a weeks, haha) He also had a really sweet song playing for me. It was exciting! Then we came home and made homemade pudding, and chicken with macadamia nuts and baked potatoes. It's a good thing that neither of us are aspiring chefs, because this meal took SO long to make, and probably could have tasted a little better than it did...but that's okay cause we had fun! Then we watched the 2nd Starwars because Chris loves them and I still haven't seen them all, haha. It was a good day. <3
Then today I went to the job fair on campus for my accounting class. It was...interesting. There were a lot of companies there, but I really want to work for one of the Big 4 accounting firms, none of which were there, so...yeah. There were a few companies I might look into though as a second choice if nothing happens with any of the Big 4. (But I'm really hoping things work out with Deloitte!) I did get a whole bunch of free stuff though! Like...ridiculous things, such as a lawn chair for my cell phone, chapstick, a cup that turns blue if you put cold water in it, mood magnets, a shirt, a book, an insurance company bag, and several pens, haha. So random.
Now I need to debate working out tonight and think of ways to remember to go to my Friday class again tomorrow....
