running on neon lights
and flashing florescent signs
telling all lovers to close their eyes 
keeping those friends away at arms length
counting sheep to fall awake
i’m only asking you an answer
blinking eyes to questions
nothing stays asleep within us
can’t we just enjoy the happy
our signs and senses don’t attract tourists
you keep me at your doorstep
i pay you in words
but i don’t receive empty kisses
the colours run wild in the fields of wishes
but no acid, nor bills
you speak of silence 
and i fill it with noise
only so, do those lights shine bright
with my love, and your nearsightedness
the star rises and creates another arched doorway of difference.

and just leave the hectic schedule of now.

i miss him too much to think properly.
