I'm Here
My first post from St. John's Newfoundland.
I just got here! We had a flight stopover in Moncton, NB, and when we got to the airport it was pretty crowded. Our cab driver had a real thick newfoundland accent, I had to concentrate to understand him. For no extra charge he took us for a little tour, to show me the campus (it's so quaint!!) and the infamous GEORGE ST. (I think my mom may be more excited than I am)
Anyway I move into residence tomorrow at 11 AM, staying at the Quality Hotel tonight, it has a view of the harbour.. When I remember where I packed my digital camera I'll take a picture, it's so pretty!
We're about to head to Walmart to get bedding, towels, and toiletries for me.. Hope everyone else who is moving this weekend has a safe and stress-free trip!
