(no subject)
myself in point form:
& i am still working. the show has been delayed, again. but because they are sweet sweet people they are finding lots of stuff for me to do around "the office", which is actually their basement. so i spend most days infront of this mac writing out scripts and doing expense sheets and episode breakdowns and research. but it's good, and they pay me nice. i'm technically working on two shows right now, Design Over Time (my original, which we're starting to shoot again in August) and one called Switch Hitters (which is still in concept).
& i have a chest cold, it seems. and a sore throat. do those go together?
& i am "dieting". well, i'm on www.sparkpeople.com. it's super and i'm kind of addicted. i count all my calories and drink 8 glasses of water a day and exercise according to my fitness schedule. i think i've lost 3 lbs in just over 2 weeks.
& i'm going on vacation in 18 days. i leave on a plane with my boy and we go to St. Thomas. that's in the Virgin Islands. his dad lives there, so we stay with him and tan and read and relax and swim and sleep in for a week and then come home. i'm basically counting the minutes.
& i saw the The Cat Empire this weekend and it was unbelievable. seriously one of (if not THE) best show i've ever been too. i've never danced so hard. they played every song i wanted them to.
& i miss you. my friends seem really far away. i occasionally get glimpses of you when meeting up for drinks or coming over for video games, but mostly i'm lonely. i think we're all lonely. my best friends live in the same town as me and i never even see them. i will change it... though i am downtown during the week.
& my roommates are a pain, as usual. though this time it's the new one that's bothering me. her friends leave cigarette butts all over the front steps and she has left the same dishes there for 6 days. and some of her guys came walking right into the house and banging on my door. then they stood there questioning me while i was just wearing my bathrobe. screw off.
otherwise yeah, just the usual. life is flowing.
it goes on and on.
