OMG!!!!
Dawson's Creek is on Netflix Instant. I guess I know what I'm gonna do this summer. It's been quite a while since I've seen it at all and maybe even a decade since I've watched with any consistency. I wonder if I'll see it differently now.
And it *is* summer because the boys both finished school earlier this week. I swear evey year I think we're not going to make it. It's one thing to do work yourself. It's a whole other level of energy expenditure to motivate someone else to do work.
Since it's hard to stop schooling cold turkey (for me, not for the kids!) I've been working on the list of novels the boys will read next year. They both can choose 3 - 4 novels from a list (in addition to the pre-assigned reading). For James a bunch of the books we have from when William read them. So I'm collecting those and trying to get them to decide on which others they might want. This'll give us a nice non-taxing head start on next year and hopefully help keep boredom at bay.
