Um... this is amazing. I may have ended up quoting half your fic, but WHATEVER THIS IS MY COMMENT AND YOU GOTTA DEAL WITH IT.

Okay, I may be the only one who appreciates that you used "Where's the poop," but there you go. I super loved it.

"Don't question me. I'm nine months pregnant. Don't think I won't sit on you."
OH MY GOD BEST. I laughed so hard.

"Fine! There may be some sort of vaguely romantic feelings in relation to Barney hanging around."
Pitch-perfect Robin right there.

"I don't care how pregnant you are, you cannot play the best friend card twice in one conversation!"

Okay, I know this is a Barney/Robin fic, but this just gave me Ted/Robin feelings and I can't help it.

"Are you wearing your Team Baby shirt underneath that button-up?"

"Obviously. I also may have brought shirts for everyone else and tried to convince Lily to put one on over her hospital gown."
OMG I feel like I'm starting to quote everything you wrote here, but it's because it's giving me so many feelings! And this is just classic HIMYM. I could totally see this happening, because a) callback heaven, and b) this is just something that Ted would try to do anyway and it would be hilarious.

Robin did her best to hold back a selfish smile.
AUGH I COULD TOTALLY VISUALIZE HER DOING THIS. MY EMOTIONS.

Ted was crying instantly.
And here is where Ted becomes an accurate portrayal of fandom. OH GOD.

Robin hit him on the arm and hissed, "Don't insult the baby."
I feel like this is just absolutely something I'd expect to see in the show. Both Robin and Barney showing their lack of knowledge about babies in a hugely adorable way.

When they found themselves outside, Barney produced two cigars from his jacket pocket.
Okay, this whole scene with the cigar smoking just gave me this wonderful feeling of symmetry and closure-- from the first time they went to a cigar bar together, to Barney and Ted when Ted and Robin had just broken up, to Robin and Ted after she'd just helped Barney to win Nora, to this. I just think this was the perfect choice. And I think you hit the exact right points that would need to be addressed for their reunion, re: Robin's infertility and knowing that Barney doesn't actively want kids, as well as talking about how they've grown since last November and knowing to choose their own path for happiness.

SO MANY FEELINGS UGH. THANK YOU.

(... also, I just realized we aren't lj friends. THIS IS SO WRONG.)

AHHHH, I'm really glad you got the ~symmetry of the cigar scene because I was quite pleased with that. :P
