The Dementedox
According to the Emes Ve-Emunah blog, the distinguished Rosh Yeshiva Horav Yisroel Weingarten is hosting important visitors from the Monsey area this week. Several choshuve gedolim and rabbonim from New York have come to speak with the rosh yeshiva and bring him words of encouragement and divrei torah and chizzuk from the Eida Chareidis in Yerushalayim. So nice. All these rabbis in one place, learning and spreading joy and cheer.
Oh, one other detail.
HoRav Yisroel Weingarten is holding these visits in his Hopewell, Virginia prison, where he is serving a 30-year sentence for abusing and raping his daughter from a young age.
There are really only two types of Orthodox Jews. The demented kind and everyone else. The problem is that the Dementedox are growing fast and at this rate, I'm not sure who is going to represent frumkeit in a hundred years. Or fifty.
Think about it. Six major orthodox rabbis went to visit this piece of shit and bring him encouragement and hope and good tidings.
