So I got my prom dress saturday (wooo) along with shoes and a purse. I still need to get a necklace though.
Still working on my research paper. It's not actually that hard, I've done so many in my lifetime that I already know how to go about it. (But the debate assignment is still hell in my eyes. I NEVER want to prepare for a formal debate ever again.) But the downfall of doing a research paper on famous roller coasters is that while you're writing the paper you always have the urge to jump in the car and drive to Magic Mountain to go ride a few. Once I'm done writing and presenting my project I know I'm going to need to go to Magic Mountain or Knotts Berry Farm. But only two of my freinds like roller coasters. One already went to Magic Mountain two weeks ago, and the other is attached at the hip with her boyfriend (her boyfriend moved in. They're 18 -_-) Plus I know neither of them are going to go on X2 (one of the eight coasters I'm writing about) or Goliath, two of the rides I want to go on the most right now ´・ω・`.
So now that prom shopping is almost done and the paper isn't such a big deal I can start thinking about cosplay.
- Get red stretch fabric (in the right shade of red -_-. I'll probably have to go downtown to find it but I'll still check the Joanns in Porter Ranch)
- Buy a compression shirt (idk where they even sell those o_o)
- Buy fabric for bloomers
- Commission bloomers to Mrs. Haynes (There is no way I will be able to make those)
- Find sandals that aren't noticeable. I'm not going to walk around at AX in bare feet.
- Find/Buy a the right wig
- Practice child makeup
- Remake missing jewels on OVA shoes.
- Adhere jewels to shoes with leather glue and leather (It was advice from ALA's repair station. I'll ask cosplay.com.)
- Order better yellow pompoms
