Sorry, I don't have anything ready yet to post. I've been going through and writing the first draft by hand of several stories. I don't know when I'll have something ready to publish. Hopefully soon, but I suck at predicting finish dates. So, I'll just leave off with another thank you all for your patience. And a teaser:
Ino stared at him hard. "So, you like girls now?"
"No," Sakumo said, short and clipped.
"Hmm." She tapped her lips thoughtfully before grinning maniacally. "Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Yes," he said, the word dragging out of him painfully. He didn't want to lie, but after Naruto's reaction he was afraid of what Ino would think. Losing one friend was hard enough.
She leaned forward clearly eager for some gossip."And you didn't tell me? Who?"
"Kakashi."
"You're dating your teacher!" she said in delighted shock.
"No," Sakura protested. "Sakumo's dating him."
He shook his head and gently pushed the remnant of the other personality away. Tsunade was helping him to reintegrate, but it wasn't a quick process and "Sakura" still popped up at the oddest times. "Sorry, yes. I am."
Ino gave him a hard look, but then decided not to pursue the matter. "You know what this means? I have a gay best friend! I finally have that coveted status of "Fag Hag." --Choji doesn't count-- We have so got to go shopping!"
Sakumo hesitated. Wasn't shopping something that guys were supposed to hate? But shopping with Ino was fun. And shopping was so stereotypically gay, he felt a knee jerk reaction that he should hate it. But shopping with Ino was fun.
Ino was starting to look worried over his hesitation. "You know I was just kidding over the fag hag thing? You are and always have been my best friend. Always will be; no matter what."
He smiled. Plus, as Sakumo, they could hit up both the Men's wear and the Women's. Shopping with Ino was fun, and he never wanted to let anyone dictate what he should and shouldn't like ever again. Not even himself. "Let me get my keys."
