DOA Ultimate is like the director's cut and digitally remastered of DOA 1 and DOA 2. Don't look for new characters, you won't find them. The environments are much more dynamic, and in DOA style, you can knock your opponent silly against gongs with a satisfying ring or throw them down cliffs for that ultimate KO! DOA 1 in this incarnation is a bit lacking, but its great for the fanboys. I have a special place in my heart for DOA 2, seeing as it was my first game that I got for my PS2. I find myself picking out the differences between XBox version and the PS2 version, which was released over 4 years ago. Yes, they had a DOA 2: Hardcore, but I don't know anything about that one cause I didn't buy it -- same goes for DOA 3. I just plain refuse to play the online portion, I do enough MMOs as it is.
Of course the women of DOA are still as bouncy as ever.
