Woke up late this AM and I had to grab fixings for breakfast and lunch instead of making it before hand. I grabbed some milk and granola for morning fuel. Lunch I had some proccutto, cheese, hummas, and tortilla wraps. My snack was an apple. We went out for dinner tonight but i found an okay natural option for dinner: chicken and green beans. Can't go wrong with meat and veggies.
Having a job is nice, but it makes planning for food a bit more challenging. I have to figure out a way to make food the day before...prolonging my time in the kitchen in the evening. I was thinking about what kinds of foods to make for dinner that would also make tasty lunch leftovers. Usually roasts are good. I don't like left over stir fry because it ends up kinda icky the next day. Soups are good, but transportation gets tricky. Maybe casseroles? Maybe I'll google it later.
Today's Review
- Energy Level: Near Normal Still Low - Got more sleep last night. Didn't feel like taking a nap at around 3-4pm.
- Hunger Level: Normal - craving more carbs. I guess the all the brain work drives carb cravings?
- Waste Ratio Today: 0 wasted vs 6 used - Yay! no more bad food in fridge. I hate icky surprises.
- Quality Level: Low - Making two meals in one sitting kinda sucks. I want to find a way of combining the two (dinner & lunch tomorrow) in one.
- Out/In Ratio Total: 2 out vs 10 in - still winning in the eat-in war. Leaves me a ton of eat-out credits for this weekend with friends! ^_^
