True colors
A huge thank you to holyeqq for sharing this youtube of Cyndi Lauper singing True Colors. I cannot stop listening to it. Beautiful.
I am so musically disinclined that it's not even funny, but I desperately want to learn to play a lap dulcimer now. Maybe I should start with the pink guitar gifted to Cody (that I am holding on to until Cody is old enough to attempt playing it himself (although he did strum it pretty well the day it was gifted to him)) by my former neighbor (who was ousted from our complex simply because he couldn't stop yelling every now and then). My fingers are too fat to hold only one string at a time. (I always wanted to be a violinist, but the fat-fingered syndrome got in the way.)
