stupid rain
It hasn't stopped raining all week - and its not supposed to for a while. I can't believe this weather. It feels like early March or something. So lame.
I did manage to go to the library.. one of the only things I did do.. Especially since I went home and read 2.5 books. Talk about being boring. But the books were all very good and I even splurged and had a bath.
Since I was so freaking unproductive yesterday I did laundry, the dishes, vacuumed and cleaned before attempting to pick up my key from my uncle at work (wrong key - hopefully he can find the right one). After that I went onto campus to pick up my transcripts but of course the stupid transcript place decided that it should close between 2 and 5 that day so I didn't get to pick them up like I was supposed to. I'm headed through there on Friday so I'll do it then. Because I was grumpy about the lack of key, the lack of transcripts and the rain - and also missing picking up a package even though that was the one time I went anywhere for a couple of days - Wickedkitty and I made cookies (well, I did) and we drank wine and watched the Tudors. Made me feel better, though the sugar, wine, and the vampire book I read before bed made for some really bizarre dreams.
I'm pretty much holing up until the stupid UPS people get here.. not going to do anything time consuming or loud so I don't miss the door. So I've been reading a bunch. Still trying to decide if I should run to the library on Friday or not. Might be going to the Highland Games on Saturday and the library is closed on Sunday so I'm not sure. Things are still up in the air for the weekend so I don't want to plan to do anything until I know for sure.
Speaking of for sure, I submitted the contract. I'm just waiting to get the police clearance back so I can send it in to be apostilled which is the last step in the visa process. I think I have to call them since they haven't even charged my account yet and its been almost a week.
Hmmm... that sounds like a large truck. Maybe its the UPS guy. That would be nice since I'm kind of smelly and would love to take a shower.
