THE KAVA FESTIVAL!!! err...I mean...AWA' FESTIVAL!!
MAN I WENT AND DRANK KAVA!!!! i didn't even care if the PNG, Fijian, and Samoan guys were freaking out at how much Fijian kava I downed...I just NEEDED THAT! I needed to have some pointless convesations, both specifically random and stupidly deep...I needed it so much!
Most of the conversations that I have participated in lately have been so unfulfilling and empty...going to the kava festival just...IT WAS GREAT!!!! i mean...i did research for my sociology class, hung out with my other friend (who i evetually ditched for kava), and met people who had gone to school in the South Pacific (specifically USP). I had a blast! it was almost close to a moment wher eyou could never forget...those random moments in life that happen only in the moment can never be repeated or matched...it was close to that.
the kava festival was AWESOME!!!! and i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KAVA-ED OUT afterwards! i slept SOOOOOOOOO good though! i had like three phone calls and i was like can i call you tomorrow! it was nice! i drank from 1:00pm-8:00pm. (Calvin you know that is my personal record too!) I slept most of the next day...thank GOD it was SATURDAY when the festival happened....so SUNDAY was spent sleeping! although later that night i remember i had online hw for math (YES! i STILL can't believe i have online AND written hw for math!). i didn't finish it and i didn't care.
but it was great! i just hope everyone else had as good a time as i did =)
