Jinki sucked in a deep breath as he walked down the quiet street. Part of him wondered if he was lost, the street was dead silent, there was no loud music blaring from anywhere. It hardly seemed like the right place to find the business he was looking for. Frowning slightly as he stood under the rustling trees, Jinki eyed the scrap of paper. His fingers gripped it tightly since he had almost lost it once from the strong gusting winds. Glancing around Jinki sighed softer as he read the street signs again, he was on the right street, but where was the bar?

The wind died down a little, but Jinki found himself smiling as he saw a few orangey-red autumn leaves drifting down towards him. They circled in the air softly; looking like snowflakes caught in the wrong season and lit up by a glowing sunset instead of dying leaves drifting to the ground. After another couple of metres Jinki’s eyes finally saw the neon sign. He felt the tug of his nerves tight inside his chest as he eyed the pulsating glowing sign. The hand gripped his heart painfully tight as Jinki pushed the door open and entered the bar, trying to ignore the hammer of his heart.

Soft waves of music floated across him, washing over him like a refreshing scent of mint. The song was unrecognisable but it drew Jinki in. He felt bewitched as he walked forward towards the source of the music. Jinki had forgotten why he was even there, the soft piano lured him deeper into the dimly lit bar. Jinki rounded a corner, not even wondering why he hadn’t seen a single soul, when his eyes fell upon the piano. It was lit up with a soft blue stage light, illuminating the black piano so it was a dark blue, and the pianist was dressed in a pale blue. The contrast of the dark piano and the angelic soft music, sent shivers down Jinki’s arms, .as he gazed forward intently at the pianist. His black hair was short, but styled nicely and pale blue suit somehow seemed to suit him.

Jinki inhaled lightly remembering why he was there, at the precise moment that the pianist began to sing. The hand in his chest clenched tightly - there was no way anyone would hire him when they had this amazing pianist and singer already there. Jinki’s eyes half shut as he listened to the singer’s soft melodic voice, it was soft but powerful at the same time. Jinki felt goose bumps rise on his arms as he listened to the expert weaving of the music and the singing, it was almost heavenly.

“Excuse me, sir?”

Jinki’s head whipped around and he quickly shut his jaw, when he saw the waiter standing there, “Did you want a drink sir? The bar is over that way.” The waiter pointed, and Jinki realised that he had been standing there for a good ten minutes entranced by the music. Jinki felt like an idiot, but music always hit him powerfully and this song was drawing him in even more than usual. When he glanced forward he saw the pianist get up and smile warmly across at the audience before bowing. Jinki’s tongue felt welded to the roof of his mouth, he couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing in there. It was hopeless he would never get a job there; soundlessly he shook his head at the waiter. Jinki continued to stare until he realised the pianist had caught him staring, and his cheeks began to heat.

Jinki breathed out loudly, kicking a can outside the bar. He had come out to clear his head or something, or probably just to leave and go home. It felt as if his dreams had been dashed, like this bar had been his last hope and last dream. Jinki had lost track of the number of bars and cafes he had visited in the past weeks trying to get some kind of job. This bar was the last promising venue and once again it was hopeless. Jinki felt his eyes watering as he stood there.

“Hey.”

Jinki froze, turning slowly and wondering who was talking to him. Jinki’s eyes widened in horror as he saw the pianist from earlier standing there smirking at him. His black hair was shorter than Jinki had initially realised, and he was handsome too. Jinki hadn’t looked at him too closely earlier he had been too engrossed in the music and his voice. Jinki found himself backing away slightly, wondering why this guy, this stranger had come out to talk to him.

“I was hoping you’d stay to hear the encore,” the guy shrugged his shoulders casually; “My name is Byunghee, what’s your name?” Byunghee stepped forward, making Jinki gulp and step backwards until his back hit the concrete wall. Jinki felt cornered as Byunghee stepped forward, the grin across his face widening as he lifted his hand up close near Jinki’s face.

“Um,” Jinki swallowed, “does it matter what my name is?” Jinki’s eyes followed the path Byunghee’s fingers took, flicking left and then down before focusing on the right. Jinki almost went cross eyed as Byunghee’s hand touched his cheek lightly.

“Yeah, it does,” Byunghee whispered, “Out of everyone in the bar, you stood out to me. Do you know why?” Byunghee’s fingers slipped lower, digging into the underside of Jinki’s chin. “Because you swayed to the music, you looked as if you were entranced by it.” Byunghee nodded his head slowly, and Jinki gulped slowly, he hadn’t even noticed the pianist looking his way. But he had been completely spell bound by the music.

“Oh, my uh name is Jinki.” Jinki pushed Byunghee away roughly, walking away quickly. Jinki could feel his pulse racing as he left the bar in a hurry. He had no idea why he had even told Byunghee’s his name; it wasn’t as if he was ever going to come back to that bar. There was no way in hell he was going back there, after all it had been his last job prospect.

Jinki sighed heavily, as he hesitated outside the bar. Jinki felt like banging his head against the wall. He had vowed not to return and yet here he was outside that damn bar again. Jinki shook his head slowly, lifting his head as he started to walk backwards. He could still leave, he could still run away from the bar. Jinki didn’t want to risk entering it because then he knew he’d be drawn in by the music. It was so hypnotic, Jinki nodded his head, planning to escape as he stepped back and then collided against a person.

“Oh, hey Jinki,” Byunghee murmured from behind him, and Jinki froze, mentally slapping his forehead as he realised he had bumped into the one thing he was running from. “You came back,” gentle hands touched his back and Jinki was powerless as Byunghee turned him to face him. Jinki soon found it became an irritating habit - that he would end up at the bar almost every night listening to Byunghee sing.

Strangely Jinki realised the part he liked the most was when Byunghee walked him home late in the morning. The night sky starting to fade into dusky colours, hints of peach and orange starting to splash across the sky. But best of all was the way Byunghee would half sing as they strolled down the streets together. Jinki would lie and toss in his bed wondering what it all meant. What it meant when Byunghee looked at him with those happy, warm eyes, and the way his face would light up when Jinki arrived. The way Byunghee would whisper Jinki’s name, in that sexy voice making goosebumps rise on his arms.

Jinki bit on his lip nervously, about to bid Byunghee farewell for another night but instead Byunghee leaned forward tugging Jinki into his arms, “Hyung?” Jinki laughed softly, glancing up into his face, wondering what was going on. Before Jinki could say another word Byunghee kissed him firm across the lips. Jinki’s eyes shut in shock as Byunghee’s lips massaged his own. Jinki found himself deepening the kiss, moaning from the way Byunghee flooded his senses, music floating through his mouth and sinking into every cell of his body.

“Hyung,” Jinki panted, tugging his fingers in the belt loops of Byunghee’s pants, “don’t go,” he murmured soft and quietly as he stared up at the older male. Jinki blushed slightly, his heart rate increasing even more as Byunghee hesitated for a split second. Jinki felt foolish but then Byunghee was kissing him, and it was even better than his singing. The way Byunghee’s tongue danced against Jinki’s, it felt as if he was singing in his head softly, and the notes made Jinki shudder.

“I won’t go,” Byunghee murmured eyes serious and sexy as he stared right into Jinki’s.

Jinki whimpered slightly when Byunghee ripped his shirt off him, the cool air hitting his skin. But the way Byunghee’s eyed him hungrily, warms hands reaching for his half naked body warmed Jinki instantly. Hesitantly Jinki traced his hands up across the firm back, trailing down towards his jutting hip bones and up Byunghee’s chest slowly. Jinki watched the morning light slide and shift across Byunghee’s muscular body, lighting up each section of his skin with velvety peach. Jinki watched mesmerised as Byunghee moaned softly from the way Jinki smothered him in kisses, pressing his lip down against each painted section of his skin. The dusky, hues making him even more beautiful and he shone like a rainbow in the morning light.

When Byunghee pushed Jinki back, hands gliding across his skin like the keys of a piano. Jinki’s eyes fluttered half open, moans slipping out of his mouth as Byunghee played him softly before sliding his mouth down Jinki’s curves. The way Byunghee’s tongue slid down his thigh cut Jinki in half, he felt as if the sunlight was pouring across his body in a wave of molten heat. The music rose like steam from his limbs as Byunghee claimed Jinki as his.

It was painful, the notes rising in heavy, loud tones, and Jinki gasped. His eyes watered making the sunset a blurry image of dark peach and pink, like a giant bruise. Byunghee’s fingers stroked his hips lightly, the sun rising up like a beacon. Jinki watched the bruise fade, shifting into a golden queen peach, golden and shimmery as Byunghee began to create songs inside Jinki. Each motion of his hips thrusting slowly, perfectly into Jinki made the sun and the song intersect into a sphere of heavenly music. As if each note had been shot with a ray of light, and the light changed its texture transforming it into the softest, sweetest song.

Jinki’s head arched back as Byunghee kissed down his neck, thrusting so gently, into Jinki’s body. Each thrust shifted him higher and higher, until he floated amongst the clouds and the piano chords of the song of their souls. Jinki shivered feeling his body loosen and tighten, the music reaching fever pitch, the sea of notes crashing over him in waves as he came. Jinki shuddered against Byunghee, coating his hand wrapped around his cock in his seed. Seconds later Jinki felt Byunghee come inside him, his lips soft against his shut eyelids, pressing peach kisses against his skin.

“Hyung,” Jinki gasped softly, one eye opening and he gazed across at Byunghee, golden in the growing sunlight,
Oh god hyung,” Jink panted, shaking his head softly as Byunghee smothered him in kisses, laughing like some golden Zeus. Jinki thought as he breathed in deeply, that was what Zeus must have looked like to the mortal woman he seduced, all golden and resplendent.

“Jinki-ah,” Byunghee half sung his name, “that was amazing, you’re amazing.” Byunghee nuzzled his nose against Jinki’s sweaty hair, “You make my body sing.” Byunghee whispered and Jinki wanted to whisper that he knew, that he heard it in his head. Instead he just nodded his head, wrapping his limbs firmly around Byunghee’s body, watching the sun dance and light up his lover’s skin. Jinki hadn’t felt so content in a long time, he couldn’t stop smiling, and he was happy that he had stumbled into that bar and had met Byunghee.
