I am posting here to shamelessly advertise perMINent's projects for the incoming year!
We got two ongoing projects where you can participate on!
Since I don't want to spam everyone and I know people who don't cut are sometimes annoying, kindly please proceed under the cut below! ^^
SUNGMIN'S BIRTHDAY PROJECT!
At first, the forum didn't want to pursue a project for his birthday, but since the two founders of perMINent is going to Korea for Valentines, we decided to pursue the project and just give it to him alongside the Valentines Day project! Below are the guidelines to making your sign and taking your picture. Once you follow all the guidelines completely, you will then email us your high quality picture. From there we will print them all out and write your name and country on the back. (you can also include your age if you wish).
If you speak a foreign language and know people that do NOT speak English, you are welcome to translate this project and promote it in other websites and forums. You do NOT have to be a perMINent member to join in if you do not speak and/or read English.
To participate you MUST follow all the rules and requirements listed on this page and then email us your picture by January 5th at the latest with the form provided completely filled out. If you fail to do this, you will not be included!
What are we going to do?
We are making "Happy Birthday, Sungmin!" signs! And not only that, you will also take a picture of yourself with the sign.!
What are the GUIDELINES?
Sign Rules
Signs must be at least 8.5x11" in size. Meaning you can make your sign as little as a piece of regular printing paper. There is no limit on how big the sign can be.
There is one major requirement of each sign: It must say, in English, "Happy Birthday Sungmin" as the largest part of the sign. This is the part we want to stand out the most.
YOU CAN:
+ Cut the sign in special shapes.
+ Draw stars, hearts, cats, balloons, etc on it.
+ Use stickers
+ Put pictures of Super Junior all together and/or Sungmin on it as long as they do not have watermarks on them from other websites. OFFICIAL AND SELF TAKEN PHOTOS ONLY.
+ Write Happy Birthday in your own native language along with the the English.
+ Write "I love you" in English or "I love you" in your native tongue.
+ Write song lyrics in Korean from the following songs on the sign (not a requirement!)

+ Design something on Photoshop and print it out for your sign.
+ Be creative! Decorate it how you want.
YOU CAN NOT:
- Have the sign be less that 8.5x11" in size.
- Put your name on the sign
- Put stickers of licensed artists (cat sticker = ok, hello kitty sticker = not ok)
- Put pictures with watermarks on your sign. No Daksu20, Oppaya, Fall in Min, etc pictures. If they are official released photos or pictures he or his friends took himself or that YOU took, that is fine.
- Put your home town or country on the sign. Find other ways for it to reflect your home if you want (such as putting "happy birthday" in your native language), but no actual words.
- Write any phrases besides the following:

I love you

Photo Rules
All pictures must be at least 800x800 pixels inside. The higher the quality, the better! We will resize them ourselves, but the higher the quality is, the better the picture will look.
The two major things when taking a picture is making sure its clear. Meaning you must have good lighting. Also the picture can not be blurry. I recommend taking multiple pictures so you can see which one has the best lighting and in case the first one you take is blurry and you didn't notice!
YOU CAN:
+ Wear whatever you want as long as its presentable and doesn't fall into the "You can't" category.
+ Wear anything that is required by your religion. You do not have to ask if its okay, we understand and do not discriminate!
+ Wear hats, head bands, and even animal ears!
+ Show anything from just your face to whole body. The more of you in it, the better!
+ Not show your face. Though we do encourage it, I understand some people may not want to. But I'm sure Sungmin would like seeing everyone's faces more!
+ Photoshop out bad skin or pimples. If you have a giant pimple on your nose that day and you want to blur it out, we totally understand.
+ Take your picture in any location with good lighting. Outside, your room, living room, a store. Wherever you feel like! We encourage outside pictures just because they have the best lighting!
+ Have one friend in a picture with you. No more than 2 people to a picture. We encourage taking each picture alone!
YOU CAN NOT:
- Have any nudity. Short shorts/skirts/dresses and tank tops are fine. But no underwear, bathing suits, tube tops, etc. All boys must wear shirts.
- No clothing depicting other musical artists, actors, models. Only Super Junior or Sungmin!
- No pictures/posters in the background depicting other musical artists, actors, models, etc. Only Super Junior or Sungmin!
- No bad lighting. Good, bright lighting is very important to a good picture!
- No blurry photos.
- Photoshop more than just skin flaws. We understand photoshopping out a pimple or even a big scar, but photoshopping eyes another color, for example, is not allowed.
- Have more than 2 people to a picture. We want as many pictures as possible, so if 15 people crowd around one sign, that's 15 separate pictures we could have had with various signs.
How to submit our photo?
First, we need you to fill out the simple form (note that on Location, you only have to fill out the Country, all other parts are optional). Name, Location, and Age is what will be on the back of your picture, so it must say what you want it to say on the picture.

You will then email it with either an attachment or an upload from either imageshack or tinypic (NO photobucket) to the following email:

If you don't receive a response within 48 hours, check your spam and if there's still nothing, comment here, resend, or @perMINent on twitter to see if it made it. Remember, you must wait 48 hours before asking if we received it!

PERMINENT'S VALENTINE PROJECT!
This is a project perMINent will be doing for Valentine's Day for Sungmin!
We thought it would be fun to give him a lot of Valentines from vita민s all over the world and show him how much we love him. ^^ This will be delivered alongside the birthday project, so he will be getting 2 projects at once. (please participate in BOTH projects!)
What are we going to do?
We will be writing him letters again, like our SMTown project. Only this time, they will be printed out and put onto hearts - giving him Valentine's notes from everyone!
Please read through the guidelines below and send your finished letter to the email address given. From there, perMINent staff will print them out and put them onto hearts to give to Sungmin.
If you know of fans who do not speak English, feel free to gather letters and translate them into English for our project! You do not have to be a member to join. Just make sure letters follow the guidelines! ^^

+ Letter must be 150 words or less. No exceptions! This is the minimum amount that can fit onto the heart.
+ Each letter must be in English! If you are worried about your English, please let us know and we can help edit it for you!
+ At the end of the letter, you must write:

+ Must include something about Valentine's. Either "Happy Valentine's day!" or "I hope you read this Valentine" or something mentioning Valentine's.
+ You can include the phrase "I love you" in your native language or Korean if you want, but everything else must be in English.
+ Do not call Sungmin your husband, boyfriend, etc. Calling him Oppa is okay.
+ Do not write anything that is offensive or rude! Your letter will be sent back for editing if there is anything rude in it.

How do we submit our letters?
After making a letter that abides with the rules, submit it through email it with the letter either in the body of the email, or as an attached document to:

We will email you back to let you know if your letter was accepted or if something needs to be fixed. If you don't receive a response within 48 hours, check your spam and if there's still nothing, comment here, resend, or @perMINent on twitter to see if it made it. Remember, you must wait 48 hours before asking if we received it!
