I tried to teach myself the guitar, and it didn't go too well. I'm sure with an actual teacher I could have done better, but oh well. I was never too good at the stringed instruments anyway. (Bass clarinet pride for life!)

Heh... I tried clarinet in elementary school. I was so tiny and shy... I didn't even have the wind power to get anything out of it. I got ONE note out of it, once, and that was at home. I ended up taking piano instead.
