Wii've been busy
Haven't been posting much lately.
Biggest reasons:
1) BRYON BOUGHT ME A WII FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!! :D He got it a little over a month early, so that we will have time to play it together for a while before he goes to Afghanistan. He went through the whole deal, getting up at quarter to 7, checking the Sunday circulars, and waiting in line out in the cold (he was the first one there!). What a completely awesome boyfriend. :D :D :D :D We are enjoying Wii Sports (I am soooo sore) and have so far convinced Bryon's parents, their friend Milt (who's about 85), my parents, my brother and some of Bryon's nephews to play. We are bringing it to Thanksgiving. :)
Let's just say, I was SERIOUSLY impressed that he completely surprised me. I mean, we've been talking about getting a Wii since well before LAST Christmas... but he still managed to do it in a way that I didn't expect.
2) Did you see that mention of nephews up there? Missy and the boys showed up a day early. Thankfully we (mostly Bryon and his parents) still managed to get most of the cleaning and bunk-bed-building done by the second night of their stay, so that they all have their sleeping arrangements settled now. They've been having fun visiting the apartment, etc., and it's going to be one heck of a Turkey Day! Bryon and I are going to eat over there this year and then go to my parent's house for dinner with my relatives (that's where we're taking the Wii). Wahahah.
3) I'm EXHAUSTED.... between the crazy work schedule (now that we've opened the store in the mall) and the nephews and oh yeah, the class reunion (which went really well, by the way), I am just plain tuckered out. I'm not sure when I will have the time to recover, either. Probably once Bryon is off to Fort Bragg. ;_; (Still not happy about that.)
Anyway, I hope everyone has a stellar Turkey Day and a great weekend!
