I live in Japan.
Today we went to see a candle lighting festival in Nara. It was gorgeous. We hiked up a huge ass hill and watched the sun set behind Todaiji. The temple holds an enormous wooden buddha statue and is, I believe, the largest completely wooden structure in the world. It was hot as hell out, but we had a lovely time today.
We'll be laying low for the next few days due to a serious lack of funds, but we get paid Monday and then at 10pm that night we head on out to the airport to take off for THAILAND! It's gonna be perfection.
