being sick is evil. I have been quarantined in the depths of my abysmal lair for the past 2 days of vomitous horror. I've lost 5 pounds due to the fact that I couldn't even keep water or an effing saltine cracker down for more than 5 minutes. I haven't experienced that much vomiting since god knows when. Argh. I just consumed a can of chicken soup and it seems to be staying in my stomach. It figures, my 2 days off I spend next to the porcelain throne and sleeping. I did, however, discover the joys of the Peoria Public Access channel 11. Most of the time it plays soothing jazz music and random slides (such as my favorite, "Do you know its a crime to dial 911 without an emergency?") but the shows it does feature are hilarious. Maybe its because I was feverish and dying, but man o man. Watching the Animal House show where they featured animals available for adoption at the local pound was the best.. that, and the Arizona Game and Fish department special on how they moved fish from a country club lake into lake pleasant was interesting. It may not seem exciting to you, but I dare you to watch a public access chanel and NOT be amused when holed up for 2 days.
