(no subject)
Thank you to everyone for all of my beautiful Christmas cards and pictures. I apologize, but I couldn't get it together (time-wise or financially)to send out cards this year.
My internet is turned off at home again, probably for a couple of weeks at least, until after January's rent is paid.
I woke up this morning and it was 6 degrees (-12 wind chill). My pipes were frozen. I called my landlord and he said "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, when it gets really cold you have to pull the stove out and put a space heater behind it to warm the bathroom pipes." WTF??
Anyone that knows me knows my number one fear is fire (number 2 is velociraptors). Can someone tell me exactly how safe it is to keep a heater behind a gas stove??
