Bloody Teeth

Well, I've seen a Dentist, and things do not look good.

I haven't had my teeth looked at since University, and now I'm paying the price. Literally. The tooth that broke is going to need a full crown. That's £500 right there. Then there's an additional 13(!) fillings in other teeth, which will cost another grand. And that's before I get referred to a specialist to check my last root canal, which may need to be redone, since there seems to be some decay at the bottom of the root. That'll cost me another £90 just for the examination, plus more if he decides he needs to do something. And then there's the examinations, xrays, and God knows what. All in, I'll be lucky if its much less than two grand!

This is going to really nuke my savings. This last few months have been crazy. Between laser surgery, my season ticket, my christmas holiday (booked before all this happened, I'm beginning to regret it now), buying Xavin's car and now this, the house deposit I've been saving for years now is going to be a sad shadow of itself. I'm going to have to really cut down on the number of events I go to next year if I'm going to start bulding it back up. And the new PDA I was drooling over is right out.

And have I mentioned the pain? 13 fricking fillings, a full crown and a possible root canal? I'm going to be in agony! No one should expect me to do anything the week after next, apart from whimper.
